Just Hired is two products that work together. The web app is the intelligence layer — a job board, alignment scoring, Recruiter's View gap analysis, Insider Intel job decoder, and AI resume tailoring. The Chrome extension is the execution layer — it activates on any company career page and fills out the application form in one click, generates AI answers for open-ended questions, and logs the application. Together they take a 45-minute application process down to under 3 minutes.
58 seconds. Upload your resume, set your target role and location, and your personalized job board loads immediately. Your profile powers everything else — every alignment score, tailoring decision, and AI answer in the extension pulls from your uploaded resume automatically.
No. The web app works completely independently. You can use the job board, alignment scoring, Insider Intel, Recruiter's View, and resume tailoring tools without ever installing the extension. The extension is what handles the actual application filing — installing it unlocks the execution side of the platform. Both are free to use.
The Just Hired extension runs on Chrome, Brave, Edge, Arc, and Opera — any Chromium-based browser. Firefox support is not currently available. Install from the Chrome Web Store; it works on all supported browsers from the same listing.
The free Intelligence plan includes: unlimited job board access, alignment scores and tailoring strategy on every job card, the Chrome extension with unlimited autofill and badge system, AI answers for open-ended application questions, application tracking, and 3 premium intelligence runs per rolling 7-day window. Premium runs cover Recruiter's View, Insider Intel, and AI resume tailoring.
Each time you use Recruiter's View, Insider Intel, or AI resume tailoring on a specific job, it counts as one premium run. You have 3 per rolling 7-day window. "Rolling" means the reset is tied to when you used your first run, not a fixed calendar day — so if you used one on Tuesday, that credit becomes available again the following Tuesday.
Quite a lot. The job board continues with unlimited browsing. Alignment scores and tailoring strategies remain visible on every card. The Chrome extension continues with unlimited autofill, the badge system, AI answers, and application tracking. You'll apply with your master resume via the extension rather than a job-specific tailored version. When your 7-day window resets, your 3 premium runs are available again.
Yes. Autofill, the badge system, AI answers for open-ended questions, and application tracking are unlimited on all plans including free. The one distinction between free and Pro users in the extension: free plan users apply with their master resume. Pro users can apply with job-tailored versions directly from the extension sidebar.
Never. This is a non-negotiable constraint in Just Hired's AI. The resume tailoring only reframes and repositions experience that already exists on your resume — using the language and priorities of the specific role. It doesn't invent credentials, titles, dates, metrics, or accomplishments you don't have. What you present to a recruiter is always grounded in your real background. If you see something in the tailored version that doesn't match your experience, edit it before using it.
They answer three different questions. The Alignment Score (on the job card) answers "Is this role worth my time?" before you open it. Recruiter's View (inside the job) answers "Exactly how does my resume score against the requirements?" — every requirement mapped green/amber/red. Insider Intel answers "What is this posting actually telling me?" — real role assessment, hiring motivation, decoded language, culture signal. They're designed to be used in sequence: triage with the score, analyze with Recruiter's View, contextualize with Insider Intel.
The tailoring strategy is generated from your actual resume and the actual job description — both read together. The AI identifies the specific bridge between your background and the role's requirements and outputs a single actionable sentence. It's not a template. "Translate your enterprise sales background into the consultative selling language this role demands" is generated because your resume contains enterprise sales experience and the job description uses "consultative selling" as a core requirement. Different resume + different job = different strategy.
Yes — and you should. Every tailored bullet point includes an explanation of the strategic choice the AI made. Review it, confirm it matches your actual experience, and edit any details before using the resume. The AI hands you a starting point optimized for the role; you confirm it's accurate before it goes out.
Just Hired sources from 300,000+ job posting sources including LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, BambooHR, Greenhouse, Workday, and direct company career pages. The board is personalized to your target role and location, and automatically filters out postings you've already seen so each session shows you fresh listings.
The extension handles Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, BambooHR, iCIMS, JazzHR, SmartRecruiters, and most other major applicant tracking systems — including complex React-based career portals and custom-built company career pages that break other autofill tools. The badge system shows you exactly what will fill before you touch anything, so you know upfront if a field has full support or needs manual input.
The badge system places a color-coded status on every detected field before you fill anything. ⚡ Ready = profile value loaded, one click fills it. ⚠ Select = a dropdown or radio button needing manual selection. ✦ Ask AI = an open-ended question with an AI answer staged. ↓ Download = a file upload field with your resume ready. ✓ Done = field complete. You see the full picture before committing to anything — no other autofill tool shows this before you fill.
Ctrl+Shift+H fills all ⚡ Ready fast-path fields instantly without opening the sidebar. Use it when you've already reviewed the form and just want to execute. All text fields, compensation, LinkedIn URL, and other data-ready fields fill in one keystroke.
When the extension detects a ✦ Ask AI field, it generates an answer using two inputs: your resume profile and the specific job description for this application. The answer is tailored to this role — "Describe a complex problem you solved" at a healthcare SaaS company gets a different answer than the same question at a logistics startup. Review the AI answer, edit if needed, then insert it with one click.
Just Hired Pro is $19/month on the monthly plan, or $12/month (billed $144/year) on the annual plan — saving 37% vs. monthly. The free Intelligence plan is always free with no credit card required.
Pro unlocks unlimited Recruiter's View, Insider Intel, AI resume tailoring, and ATS keyword injection — removing the 3 runs/week limit. Pro users also get the ability to apply with job-tailored resumes directly through the Chrome extension (free users apply with their master resume), plus PDF and DOCX export.

Your resume data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard encryption. Just Hired does not share your personal data with employers, recruiters, or third parties without your explicit action. Your data is used to power the product features — alignment scoring, tailoring, and extension autofill — and is not sold or used for advertising.
Just Hired logs that an application was submitted (company, role, date, status) for your tracking dashboard. The content of your application — your answers, the form data that was filled — is not stored or accessed after the session. The extension operates on-page and passes data directly to the form; it does not transmit the content of filled fields back to Just Hired's servers.
No. Your resume data, job preferences, and application history are not used to train or improve AI models. They are used solely to power the features you interact with directly in your account.
When you delete your Just Hired account, your resume, profile data, and application history are permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days. You can request immediate deletion by contacting support@justhired.ai.
The Network Accelerator expands your professional network on your behalf. Connect your LinkedIn account and Just Hired identifies recruiters, hiring managers, and peers in your target industry and role — then reaches out on your behalf to expand your network. It's designed to increase your professional visibility to the people who are actively hiring while you focus on the applications themselves.
Yes — the Network Accelerator is available on all plans including the free Intelligence plan. It requires connecting your LinkedIn account to activate. There is no additional charge for Network Accelerator on any plan.
The outreach is targeted to your specific goal — people in your target role, company, and industry. Just Hired uses your profile preferences (target role, target companies, industry) to identify the right people: recruiters, hiring managers, and senior professionals in your target field. The outreach is intentional, not mass — quality targeting over volume.
Yes. You can pause or disable the Network Accelerator at any time from your account settings. Disconnecting your LinkedIn account from Just Hired also immediately stops all network expansion activity. You're always in control of whether it's active.
