Just Hired Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
Just Hired (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Just Hired platform, including the website at justhired.ai, the Just Hired web application, and the Just Hired Chrome extension (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Service.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
1. Who we are
Just Hired is an AI-powered job application platform. Our website is justhired.ai. You can contact us at support@justhired.ai.
When you create a Just Hired account and set up your profile, you provide personal information that is stored in your account and used to fill job application forms on your behalf. This includes:
- Identity information — first name, last name, middle name, preferred name, suffix, date of birth
- Contact information — email address, phone number (home, mobile, alternate), emergency contact
- Address information — street address, city, state/province, zip/postal code, country
- Professional information — current employer, current job title, employment status, years of experience, LinkedIn profile URL, portfolio URL, GitHub URL, personal website
- Compensation information — current salary, desired salary, hourly rate
- Work authorization — citizenship status, work authorization status, visa sponsorship requirements
- Education — school, degree, major, graduation year, GPA
- Documents — resume and cover letter files you upload or generate within the platform
- Application history — records of job applications you submit while using the extension
When the Just Hired Chrome extension is active on a job application page, it reads the structure and labels of form fields on that page in order to identify which fields to fill. Specifically:
- The extension scans visible form fields and reads their labels, types, and positions to match them against your profile
- The extension reads the URL of the current page to determine whether you are on a job application and to associate the application with the correct job record in your account
- The extension does not read, store, or transmit any data from pages that are not job application forms
- The extension does not track your browsing history
When you visit justhired.ai, we may collect standard server log data including your IP address and browser user agent for security and spam prevention purposes.
We use the information we collect solely to provide and improve the Just Hired Service:
- To fill job application forms — your profile data is used by the Chrome extension to autofill fields on job application pages on your behalf, at your explicit request
- To generate AI-assisted content — your profile and uploaded documents are used to generate tailored answers to open-ended application questions and to personalize your resume and cover letter for specific roles
- To track your applications — job applications you submit using the extension are logged in your Just Hired dashboard so you can monitor your job search progress
- To improve the Service — aggregated, anonymized usage patterns may be used to improve form detection accuracy and autofill performance
- To communicate with you — we may send transactional emails related to your account (password resets, account confirmations)
We do not use your personal information for advertising. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as described in Section 5.
4. How we store and protect your data
Your profile data, documents, and application history are stored securely in your Just Hired account hosted on our servers. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) and secure credential storage.
The Chrome extension communicates exclusively with the Just Hired platform (justhired.ai) and does not transmit your data to any other third party.
5. Third-party services
The Just Hired Service uses the following third-party services to operate:
- Bubble (bubble.io) — our application backend and database hosting provider. Your profile data and application records are stored on Bubble’s infrastructure. Bubble’s privacy policy is available at bubble.io/privacy.
- Google Analytics — we use Google Analytics on the justhired.ai website to understand how visitors use our site (pages visited, session duration, traffic sources). Google Analytics collects anonymized usage data via cookies. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Google’s privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Meta Pixel (Facebook) — we use the Meta Pixel on the justhired.ai website to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to understand how users interact with our site after seeing an ad. The Meta Pixel may collect your IP address and browser information. You can opt out of Meta’s use of your data for advertising at your Facebook ad preferences. Meta’s privacy policy is available at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Google Analytics and Meta Pixel are only active on the justhired.ai website. Neither tool is loaded by the Chrome extension, and neither has access to your job application data or profile information.
If you connect third-party services to your Just Hired account in the future, we will update this policy to reflect those integrations.
6. Data retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your Just Hired account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.
Application history records are retained for the duration of your account to support your job search tracking. You may request deletion of specific records at any time by contacting support@justhired.ai.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — you can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
- Correction — you can update your profile information at any time within the Just Hired web application
- Deletion — you can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting support@justhired.ai. We will process valid deletion requests within 30 days
- Portability — you can request an export of your personal data in a portable format

For users in California (CCPA): We do not sell your personal information. You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@justhired.ai.
8. Children’s privacy
The Just Hired Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at support@justhired.ai and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
